Breraor GT. Hi Guys, just come across from the 156 area. Had a 156 2.0 TS Veloce for the past five years and sold it privately today. My intention was to get a 2.0 JTS GT for about £12 - £13K, however having been looking for a couple of months they seem to have gone up in price. I am told that there is a shortage of used GT's around this
AlfaRomeo raced, in early 1990s, a 2.5-litre engine based on Busso's 60º V6. The engine was substantially revised and had a difference bore and stroke from the 2.5 standard engine, respectively, 93 mm x 61.3 mm, and making 420 bhp (313 kW) @ 11,800 rpm with a torque of 294 Nm. The engine was replaced in the 159 and Brera by a new 3.2 L V6
Itis an Alfa, and you’re in South America so definitely be aware of the fact the climate and parts/labour costs are going to change the cost of owning the car in comparison to Europe. Somehowthe current Brera looks a bit truncated, whereas the prototype had really short front and rear overhangs and high wheel arches. From the front, both versions look gorgeous, and I'm thankful the sharply angled headlights were carried over to the facelift 147, 156 and 159. If only they'd shoehorned the Maserati V8 into the production

Andmy 159 has a tuned 3.2 JTS Alfa Romeo engine, which as a long standing Alfa Enthusiast, is important - to me! If you look at the bottom end torque improvement alone this does to a 112,000 mile 159 compared to a 40.000 mile Brera in pristine condition - where would you get that for next to nothing effort. And Horse power

TodayI went for a quick jump into both Brera's and 159's seat at local dealership. I was sitting in 159 before, but I was not satisfied with behind the wheel
AnAlfa Romeo fan in South Africa decided to paste the rear end of a Brera to the rest of a 159 sedan, ending up with the world's first-ever five-door hatchback version of the latter. Carscoops
